Exhibition terms
Please read these terms and your chosen exhibition’s requirements before applying.
Artwork and eligibility
Please check each exhibition’s theme, eligibility requirements, sizes and artwork limits. Existing work and work previously shared on social media are welcome if they fit the theme. Digital art and photography are accepted, although an exhibition may specify particular media. Applications close when all places are filled.
Rights and permissions
Fan art is accepted only in exhibitions dedicated to it. Other exhibitions require original work. Artists are responsible for checking copyright, rights relating to people depicted, rights holder guidelines and all permissions needed to exhibit, publish and sell their work.
International exhibition fees and payment
For each exhibition day, the first artwork is US$150 and each additional artwork is US$100, up to five artworks per day. You may choose different artworks and a different number of artworks each day. For multiple days, add the fee for each selected day. This is the total exhibition price payable to ARDORE, including printing, framing, translation and foreign-language support. For “Look at What I Love,” select individual dates from May 15–18, 2027. After reviewing your application, we will email the total and payment instructions. Pay in advance within seven days of applying. International payments are handled through Stripe using the payment instructions provided by email.
Cancellation and transfers
If you cancel within eight days of applying, we will refund your payment less the bank transfer fee. After this period, the full exhibition fee is charged as a cancellation fee. Alternatively, you may postpone your exhibition or transfer to another exhibition. If the new exhibition costs more, you must pay the difference. Postponement and transfers are not available once the exhibition period has begun. We may be unable to remove your name from announcements already published on social media or elsewhere.
Delivery, collection and artwork information
Delivery, collection and digital submission instructions are provided for each exhibition. For “Look at What I Love,” submit artwork information (title and tax-inclusive sale price) and a reference photograph for identification (a smartphone photograph is acceptable) through the provided Google Drive document at least ten days before each exhibition date. Submission by X direct message is also possible. Submission destinations will be provided individually.
Display and attendance
Attendance is not required. Gallery staff handle installation and operations. Display positions depend on the number and size of artworks, frame or canvas specifications, and any merchandise. Works in “Look at What I Love” are displayed in frames; cropping is possible.
Business cards, guest books and merchandise
Up to 20 business cards may be displayed per artist. Guest books are available only for Collection exhibitions and solo exhibitions. Merchandise conditions are provided for each exhibition. The gallery does not print business cards or merchandise; artists must prepare their own.
Website publication and venue sales
All exhibited works are published on the gallery’s exhibition page. Staff handle sales at the venue. Online sales are not currently available, and work may be marked not for sale. Contact us if your work is not shown on the website. Late arrival may delay publication.
Sales commission and settlement
For “Look at What I Love,” the sales commission is 10% of the sale price. Artists also bear the transfer fee for sales payouts. These sales-related deductions are separate from the total exhibition price. If work sells, we will email a report and statement within four days after the exhibition ends. After you check and reply, we will transfer the proceeds, less commission and transfer fees, to your nominated account. If you do not reply within one month, we will finalise the statement and pay the account registered in your application. No individual report is sent when no sales have been made.
Changes to venue or dates
The venue is provisional. If unavoidable circumstances arise, we may move the exhibition to a venue of equivalent value in the same area or change the exhibition dates. In such cases, we will arrange an alternative, such as a transfer to another exhibition, rather than a refund.
